A midi dress in wrinkled organza, a cloth with the texture woven into it rather than pressed out. It does not need ironing and it should not be pressed, so it travels well and comes out of a case ready to wear.
A soft round neckline opens the top. Pleats are set at the waist and held closed to the upper hip, then released, so the dress follows the body through the waist and only fills out below it. Elbow length sleeves finish in a frill at the hem.
There is no belt. The shape is held by the pleating alone, which is what keeps it light.
The dress is lined in soft rayon, so the organza stays comfortable against the skin.
It is a dress for a daytime wedding, a lunch reception, a christening or any occasion where a full length gown would be too much.
The fit is true to size. If you are between sizes, we recommend the larger.
The green is shown on a model of 178 cm and the pink on a model of 172 cm. Both wear a size S.
The size S measures 93 cm at the bust (36 1/2 inches), 75 cm at the waist (29 1/2 inches), 114 cm at the hips (45 inches) and 125 cm from shoulder to hem (49 1/4 inches). The sleeve measures 34 cm (13 1/2 inches).
Is the organza see through?
No. The dress is lined in soft rayon through the body and the skirt. The organza sits over the lining and is what gives the surface its texture.
How much do the sleeves cover?
At size S the sleeve measures 34 cm from the shoulder seam, which brings it to the elbow, and the frill falls just past it. Your shoulder and upper arm are fully covered.
Where will the hem fall on me?
Shoulder to hem is 125 cm at size S. Our two models wear the same size at 178 cm and 172 cm, and you can see the difference the height makes. On 178 cm it sits at mid calf. On 172 cm it sits lower on the calf. See more pieces in our Wedding Guest Dresses collection.

Delivery
Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. From the moment you order, this typically takes 1 to 2 days in the UAE, 2 to 4 days to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, and 3 to 5 days everywhere else. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.
If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.
We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

Please note that duty charges now apply to shipments to the US, collected by the courier on delivery.
High courier fees mean we charge specific shipping rates for Libya, Israel, Iraq and certain other countries. If you are unsure whether yours is one of them, write to us before you order and we will confirm the rate.
Returns
You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.
Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.
Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.
If we alter a piece at your request, or adjust it to your measurements before it is sent, it cannot be returned or exchanged. We will always tell you what we propose to change and we never alter anything without your confirmation first.
If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
