Baruni ships to Kuwait from our own atelier in Dubai. Every piece on this site is designed by Fadwa Baruni and made by the team she has trained, and it is sent directly to you rather than through a third party.

Delivery to Kuwait

Orders leave Dubai within twenty four hours and reach Kuwait in two to four days. Delivery is complimentary on orders over 300 US dollars, and VAT is collected by the courier when your order arrives. You are sent a tracking number the moment your parcel leaves us.

You have fifteen days from receiving a piece to return it. Full details are on our shipping and returns page.

What we make

Baruni is occasionwear, and almost all of it is sleeved or covered. That is the whole point of the house rather than a concession. Most pieces are priced between 400 and 800 US dollars. Tops and skirts start lower, and outlet pieces are reduced by at least forty percent.

The collections most often ordered to Kuwait are wedding guest dresses, evening gowns for galas and black tie, mother of the bride outfits, and festive pieces for Ramadan and Eid. Alongside them sit kaftans and resort wear for the warmer months.

Our signature is the shirt gown. It has the structure of a shirt and the presence of a gown, and its buttons let you decide your own coverage. Because it goes on last, it does not disturb hair or makeup already done.

Sizing, and why we write to you before we ship

Dresses run XS to XL. Kaftans are free size and currently fit up to XXL. Every style carries its own measurement chart rather than one generic size guide, because the cut differs from piece to piece.

Before anything leaves the atelier we write to you to confirm the size you have chosen is the right one. If you are not sure, send your bust, waist and hip measurements to info@baruni.co or by WhatsApp to +971 50 376 0856 and we will reply within one working day. Seeing Baruni in person

There is no Baruni stockist in Kuwait at present. The nearest places to see the collection are Harvey Nichols and Galeries Lafayette in Doha, Printemps Doha, Incanto in Bahrain, and Harvey Nichols and Rubaiyat in Saudi Arabia. Baruni is also carried by Farfetch and by Tryano in Abu Dhabi.

About Baruni

Baruni is a luxury occasionwear label founded in Dubai in 2009 by designer Fadwa Baruni, who spent eight years as a petroleum engineer before training in art and fashion design at Edinburgh College of Art. Every collection since has been designed by her.

Most garments are made in house in Dubai by a team she has trained closely, several of whom have been with her for more than a decade. The house develops its own colours and custom weaves, and every garment is lined in something breathable, which matters a great deal in a Gulf summer.

Are the dresses sleeved?

Almost all of them. Baruni specialises in sleeved and covered occasionwear, including full length sleeves, and each product page states exactly what the sleeve covers.

Where are the dresses made?

In our own atelier in Dubai, by a team trained in house.

Is there a Baruni store in Kuwait?

Not at present. The full collection is here at baruni.co and ships to Kuwait directly from Dubai.

Do you have anything reduced?

Yes. The outlet carries past season pieces at a minimum of forty percent off, and they ship to Kuwait on the same terms.
