The Querida Set is a jacket and a pair of wide leg trousers in a rayon with a soft sheen, for the woman who would rather not wear a dress.
The jacket has long sleeves and ties at the waist, so the shape is drawn in where you want it and nothing is fastened tight. The trousers are cut wide and fall straight from the waist to the floor. There is no trim and no beading anywhere on the set. Both pieces are lined with a breathable lining for extra comfort.
Wear it to a wedding, an engagement party, a formal lunch, an evening reception or any occasion where you want to be covered from wrist to ankle and still look dressed.
Fit note: the jacket ties rather than fastens, so the waist adjusts to you. If you are between sizes, we recommend the larger.
The model is 175cm and wears a size S. In that size the jacket measures 97cm bust and 78cm waist, which is 38 1/4 and 30 3/4 inches, with a 59cm sleeve. The trousers measure 74cm waist, 102cm hip and 107cm in length, which is 29 1/4, 40 1/4 and 42 1/4 inches.
Is a trouser set acceptable at a wedding?
Yes, and it is increasingly what our customers choose. A matched set in a fabric with sheen reads as formal as a gown, and it is far easier to move in. For a very traditional ceremony a dress is still the safer choice, but for anything else this is a proper alternative rather than a compromise.
How long are the sleeves?
Fifty nine centimetres from the shoulder in a size S, so full length to the wrist. The arm is completely covered.
Can the jacket and the trousers be worn separately?
Yes. They are cut to be worn together, but the jacket works over a plain dress and the trousers work with anything. That is the practical argument for a set over a gown. You will wear the pieces far more often.

Delivery
Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. From the moment you order, this typically takes 1 to 2 days in the UAE, 2 to 4 days to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, and 3 to 5 days everywhere else. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.
If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.
We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

Please note that duty charges now apply to shipments to the US, collected by the courier on delivery.
High courier fees mean we charge specific shipping rates for Libya, Israel, Iraq and certain other countries. If you are unsure whether yours is one of them, write to us before you order and we will confirm the rate.
Returns
You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.
Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.
Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.
If we alter a piece at your request, or adjust it to your measurements before it is sent, it cannot be returned or exchanged. We will always tell you what we propose to change and we never alter anything without your confirmation first.
If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
