Abeba is an ankle length dress cut from a jacquard woven in a small square motif, a cloth made exclusively for Baruni. Piping in a matching tone follows the seams, and the sleeves finish on the forearm with a hand made button at each hem. A slit of 40 cm rises from the hem at the centre front. The dress is lined in soft rayon.
It comes in Black, Deep Green and Mulberry. The deep green is worn by a model of 175 cm in a size S. The other two colours are worn by a model of 172 cm in a size XS.
How long is the front slit?
It measures 40 cm from the hem at the centre front, so it opens as you walk and falls closed when you stand still. The figure is published in the size guide on this page.
What length are the sleeves?
They measure 44 cm on an XS and 46 cm on an L, taken from the shoulder seam to the sleeve hem, which sits on the forearm above the wrist. Each sleeve finishes with a hand made button.
Which size should I choose in the Abeba dress?
The dress runs XS to L. Take your bust, waist and hip measurements and read them against the size guide on this page. If you fall between two sizes, take the larger one. You are welcome to send us your measurements and we will confirm your size before your order ships.

Sleeve Length is measured from the shoulder seam to the sleeve hem. The sleeve finishes on the forearm, above the wrist. The Front Slit is measured upwards from the hem at the centre front. The Neckline Opening is the split at the centre front of the round neck.

Delivery
Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. This typically takes 1 to 2 days from order in the UAE, and 3 to 5 days for other countries. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.
If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.
We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

Returns
You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.
Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.
Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.
If we alter a piece at your request, or adjust it to your measurements before it is sent, it cannot be returned or exchanged. We will always tell you what we propose to change and we never alter anything without your confirmation first.
If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
