The Zahoor Midi is a dress and a matching cropped jacket in the same jacquard, which is what makes it work for a formal daytime occasion.

The dress finishes at mid calf. Over it sits a cropped jacket in the same cloth with elbow length sleeves, so worn together the arms are covered and the shape is sharp. Worn apart the dress stands on its own.

Wear it to a daytime wedding, a formal lunch, an engagement party or a city celebration where a full length gown would be too much.

Fit note: the jacket is cropped and sits above the waist, so it does not shorten the line of the dress. If you are between sizes, we recommend the larger.

The model in red is 175cm and wears a size S, in which the dress measures 92cm bust, 75cm waist and 90cm from shoulder to hem, or 36 1/4, 29 1/2 and 35 1/2 inches. The pink is shown on a model of 172cm wearing a size XS, in which the dress measures 90cm bust, 73cm waist and 89cm from shoulder to hem, or 35 1/2, 28 3/4 and 35 inches.

How long is the dress?

90cm from shoulder to hem in a size S, which falls at mid calf on a model of 175cm. The length barely changes between sizes, so it sits lower the shorter you are.

Can the jacket be worn separately?

Yes. The two pieces are cut to work together, but the jacket is cropped and plain enough to wear over other things, and the dress is finished to be worn without it.

How much of the arm does the jacket sleeve cover?

Thirty one centimetres from the shoulder in a size S, so it finishes at the elbow. The upper arm is fully covered and the forearm is free.

Delivery

Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. From the moment you order, this typically takes 1 to 2 days in the UAE, 2 to 4 days to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, and 3 to 5 days everywhere else. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.

If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.

We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

Returns

You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.

Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.

Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.

Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.

If we alter a piece at your request, or adjust it to your measurements before it is sent, it cannot be returned or exchanged. We will always tell you what we propose to change and we never alter anything without your confirmation first.

If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
