An ankle length gown in a metallic effect fabric, a cloth woven to catch and hold the light rather than to shine. It reads quiet in daylight and comes alive under evening lighting.
Beading is set as a trim along the round neckline, the only decoration on the dress, which is what lets the fabric do the work. The sleeves are gathered and finish at the elbow. A wide belt marks the waist, and a slit at the back of the skirt lets you walk freely in a narrow line.
The gown is lined in soft rayon, so the fabric never sits directly against the skin.
It is a dress for an evening wedding, a gala, a formal dinner or any occasion that asks for something quietly impressive rather than loud.
The fit is true to size and follows the body. If you are between sizes, we recommend the larger.
Both models are 172 cm and wear a size S.
The size S measures 93 cm at the bust (36 1/2 inches), 76 cm at the waist (30 inches), 104 cm at the hips (41 inches) and 141 cm from shoulder to hem (55 1/2 inches). The sleeve measures 35 cm (13 3/4 inches).
What is metallic effect fabric?
It is a woven cloth with a soft lustre built into the yarn, not a coating or a foil. It does not flake, it does not feel stiff, and it moves like any other dress fabric. We call it metallic effect rather than metallic because nothing about it is hard or shiny.
How much do the sleeves cover?

Delivery
Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. This typically takes 1 to 2 days from order in the UAE, and 3 to 5 days for other countries. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.
If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.
We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

Please note that duty charges now apply to shipments to the US, collected by the courier on delivery.
High courier fees mean we charge specific shipping rates for Libya, Israel, Iraq and certain other countries. If you are unsure whether yours is one of them, write to us before you order and we will confirm the rate.
Returns
You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.
Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.
Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.
If we alter a piece at your request, or adjust it to your measurements before it is sent, it cannot be returned or exchanged. We will always tell you what we propose to change and we never alter anything without your confirmation first.
If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
