A floor length satin column with a round neckline opened by a keyhole at the centre front, wide sleeves that fall to the wrist, and a tie at the waist. A slit runs up the back of the skirt. Lined throughout in soft rayon.
What happens with the sleeves?
The back of each sleeve is cut longer than the front, and the inside of the lower sleeve is made in a contrasting metallic effect fabric. Standing still you see satin. The moment you lift your arm or turn, the longer back falls open and the contrast shows. It is the detail the dress is built around, and it only exists when you move.
How high is the back slit?
Around 40 cm. It sits at the centre back and opens as you walk, then falls closed when you stand still. On a straight satin column it is what makes the dress comfortable to move in.
Does the belt come off?
Yes. It ties on at the waist rather than being stitched in, so you can wear the dress shaped at the waist or leave the tie off for a clean straight line.
How much do the sleeves cover?
The full arm. The sleeve measures 51 cm on a size S and 50 cm on an XS, finishing at the wrist, and it is wide all the way down so nothing grips.
Is satin comfortable to wear for a long evening?
It is lined throughout in soft rayon, so the satin sits over the lining rather than against your skin. Satin also holds its drape, which is why the column stays straight instead of clinging as the evening goes on.
What are the measurements?
Two models wear it in two sizes, so both are published. Size S on a 175 cm model: bust 93 cm, waist 75 cm, hips 100 cm, shoulder to hem 150 cm, sleeve 51 cm. Size XS on a 172 cm model: bust 90 cm, waist 70 cm, hips 97 cm, shoulder to hem 149 cm, sleeve 50 cm.

Delivery
Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. This typically takes 1 to 2 days from order in the UAE, and 3 to 5 days for other countries. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.
If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.
We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

Please note that duty charges now apply to shipments to the US, collected by the courier on delivery.
High courier fees mean we charge specific shipping rates for Libya, Israel, Iraq and certain other countries. If you are unsure whether yours is one of them, write to us before you order and we will confirm the rate.
Returns
You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.
Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.
Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.
If we alter a piece at your request, or adjust it to your measurements before it is sent, it cannot be returned or exchanged. We will always tell you what we propose to change and we never alter anything without your confirmation first.
If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
