A floor length stretch maxi that skims rather than grips. The bodice gathers into a soft twist under the bust, the V neckline is echoed by a deep V at the back, and a pair of gold pieces sit at the shoulders where the straps meet the body. A front slit runs to around 60 cm, so the dress moves with you when you walk.
How high does the front slit go?
Around 60 cm from the hem. It sits at the centre front, so it opens as you step and closes again when you stand still. If you prefer it to stay closed, the fabric is soft enough to fall straight.
The dress is sleeveless. What can I wear over it?
Three pieces were made to sit over it. The Asabi Cape for full arm coverage with the neckline still showing. The Aziza Abaya for a longer, covered look. The Lily Jacket for a shorter, more structured shape over the waist.
Does the gathering under the bust suit every shape?
It is the reason the dress fits a wide range. The gather releases the fabric from just under the bust, so the waist and hip are skimmed rather than fitted. The stretch does the rest.
What does the back look like?
A deep V, matching the front. The straps stay wide on the shoulder, so the back opens without the dress losing its hold.

Delivery
Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. This typically takes 1 to 2 days from order in the UAE, and 3 to 5 days for other countries. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.
If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.
We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

High courier fees mean we charge specific shipping rates for Libya, Israel, Iraq and certain other countries. If you are unsure whether yours is one of them, write to us before you order and we will confirm the rate.
Returns
You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.
Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.
Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.
If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
