A floor length georgette dress on fine shoulder straps, sold with a pleated cape cut in the same cloth and the same colour. The skirt carries two layers of split panels that open just below the hip, so the dress moves in pieces rather than as one weight. Lined throughout in soft rayon.
Does the cape come with the dress?
Yes. The cape is part of the set, in matching georgette and matching colour, and the price covers both. You are not buying a dress and then hunting for something to wear over it.
Will the cape fit me?
The cape is made in one size and fits XS through to XL. It falls to 153 cm, so it covers the full length of the dress. The dress itself is sized normally, so order your usual size for the dress and the cape will fit whichever you choose.
What are the split panels?
Two layers of georgette, cut into panels that separate just below the hip rather than being sewn into a single skirt. When you walk, the panels move independently and the layers cross over each other. Standing still, they fall closed and read as one clean line.
Can I wear it without the cape?
Yes, and the photographs show it both ways deliberately. With the cape it is covered and formal. Without it, the straps and the bare shoulders make it an evening dress. One set, two occasions.
Is georgette see through?
Not here. The dress is lined throughout in soft rayon, so the georgette sits over the lining rather than against the skin. You get the movement of a light fabric with none of the transparency.

Delivery
Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. From the moment you order, this typically takes 1 to 2 days in the UAE, 2 to 4 days to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, and 3 to 5 days everywhere else. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.
If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.
We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

Please note that duty charges now apply to shipments to the US, collected by the courier on delivery.
High courier fees mean we charge specific shipping rates for Libya, Israel, Iraq and certain other countries. If you are unsure whether yours is one of them, write to us before you order and we will confirm the rate.
Returns
You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.
Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.
Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.
If we alter a piece at your request, or adjust it to your measurements before it is sent, it cannot be returned or exchanged. We will always tell you what we propose to change and we never alter anything without your confirmation first.
If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
