New at Baruni
Everything here has left our atelier recently. Wedding guest dresses, evening gowns, kaftans and resort pieces, added as they are finished rather than held back for a seasonal launch. If you have been waiting for a shape to return in a different colour, this is where it appears first.
Made in small runs
We do not produce to a calendar. A style is cut when the fabric is right and it is finished when it is finished, which works out at roughly one new piece a season. Each run is small and most are made only once. If something here is in your size, that is worth knowing.
What you will find
Almost everything is sleeved, because that is what our customers ask for. You will find elbow length puff sleeves, three quarter sleeves, long sleeves finishing just above the wrist, dropped shoulders, cape sleeves and sculptural sleeves that stand away from the arm. The sleeve is named on every product page, so you can see exactly what you are getting before you order.
Fabrics are jacquards and satins developed with our own fabric mills, taffeta, and lighter chiffon, georgette and organza for warm weather. Prices start at $350.
If you are buying for a date
Delivery is one to two days within the UAE and three to five days to the United States, the United Kingdom and most of Europe. We write to you before your order leaves us to check the size you have chosen is the right one, and if you are unsure you can reply with your measurements and we will confirm before it goes.
What these pieces are for
A destination wedding, a gala dinner, an engagement party, Eid, a Christmas party, a formal lunch, or the day your daughter marries. Most of what we make is bought for one occasion and then worn for years, which is the point of making it this way.
