The Mira Dress is cut from an exclusive Baruni jacquard in a straight column silhouette, which is the most quietly flattering shape we make.
The round neckline, the waist and the sleeve hems all carry a fine metallic trim, so the detail sits exactly where the eye travels. The long sleeves flare slightly towards the hem, which keeps them away from the arm and lets air move through them. The line is long and uninterrupted from shoulder to hem.
Wear it to an evening occasion, a formal dinner, a reception or a celebration in warm weather.
Fit note: a column skims rather than grips, and the flared sleeve covers the arm without outlining it. If you are between sizes, we recommend the larger.
Both models are 172cm and wear a size S. That size measures 94cm bust, 75cm waist and 150cm from shoulder to hem, which is 37, 29 1/2 and 59 inches.
Does a column shape suit a fuller figure?
It does, more than most people expect. A column skims the body in a straight line rather than marking the waist, so it does not draw attention to any one part. What matters is the fabric, and a jacquard with body holds its own line instead of clinging.
Do the sleeves cover the whole arm?
Yes. They are long, finishing at 41cm from the shoulder in a size S, and they open slightly towards the hem so nothing grips the forearm.
Is this an evening dress or can it be worn in daylight?
Both. The metallic trim lifts it for an evening, and the clean column reads as restrained enough for a formal lunch or a daytime reception.

Delivery
Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. From the moment you order, this typically takes 1 to 2 days in the UAE, 2 to 4 days to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, and 3 to 5 days everywhere else. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.
If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.
We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

Please note that duty charges now apply to shipments to the US, collected by the courier on delivery.
High courier fees mean we charge specific shipping rates for Libya, Israel, Iraq and certain other countries. If you are unsure whether yours is one of them, write to us before you order and we will confirm the rate.
Returns
You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.
Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.
Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.
If we alter a piece at your request, or adjust it to your measurements before it is sent, it cannot be returned or exchanged. We will always tell you what we propose to change and we never alter anything without your confirmation first.
If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
