The Carina Dress is a shirt dress that finishes just below the knee, and the detail that matters is at the back.
It is cut in a rayon fabric with some sheen, buttoned through the front. A gathered keyhole sits at the back, which is the only place the dress shows any skin and is what lifts it out of being simply a day dress. The sleeves are three quarter length, the waist is marked without being tight, and it is lined with a breathable lining for extra comfort.
Wear it to a daytime wedding, a lunch, a city event, a work celebration or an occasion where a full length dress would be too much.
Fit note: a shirt dress is forgiving through the body. If you are between sizes, we recommend the larger.
The model is 175cm and wears a size S. That size measures 93cm bust, 74cm waist and 107cm from shoulder to hem, which is 36 1/2, 29 1/4 and 42 1/4 inches.
How long is it?
107cm from shoulder to hem in a size S, which sits just below the knee on a model of 175cm. The length is the same across sizes to within a centimetre, so it falls lower the shorter you are rather than rising.
How far down the arm does the sleeve come?
Forty two centimetres from the shoulder in a size S, so three quarters of the way down the arm. The upper arm is fully covered and the wrist is free.
Is a dress this length acceptable at a wedding?
For a daytime wedding, yes, and in a city it is often the better choice. For an evening wedding or anything described as black tie, go to a full length piece instead.

Delivery
Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. This typically takes 1 to 2 days from order in the UAE, and 3 to 5 days for other countries. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.
If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.
We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

Returns
You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.
Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.
Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.
If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
