The Rawand Set is two pieces that work separately, which is unusual for us and is the whole point of it.

The dress is a sleeveless maxi in a wrinkled fabric that holds its texture rather than pressing flat. Over it sits a cropped jacket in the same cloth, with long sleeves. The jacket comes off, so the same set covers you completely for a ceremony and opens up for the evening without you changing.

Wear it to a wedding, an engagement party, a formal dinner or any occasion that runs from daylight into the night.

Fit note: the jacket is cropped and sits above the waist, so it does not interrupt the line of the dress. If you are between sizes, we recommend the larger.

The red, the peach and the black are shown on a model of 175cm wearing a size S, which measures 92cm bust, 75cm waist and 145cm from shoulder to hem, or 36 1/4, 29 1/2 and 57 inches. The teal and the purple are shown on a model of 172cm wearing a size XS, which measures 90cm bust, 73cm waist and 144cm from shoulder to hem, or 35 1/2, 28 3/4 and 56 3/4 inches.

Can the jacket be taken off?

Yes, and it is designed to be. Worn together you are fully covered with long sleeves. Taken off, the dress is a sleeveless maxi. One purchase, two very different dresses, which is why this set is bought for weddings abroad.

How long are the jacket sleeves?

Sixty centimetres from the shoulder in a size S, so full length to the wrist.

Will the wrinkled fabric crease in a suitcase?

The texture is woven into the cloth, so a suitcase does not damage it the way it would a satin. Hang it when you arrive and it settles on its own.

How to measure yourself

Delivery

Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. From the moment you order, this typically takes 1 to 2 days in the UAE, 2 to 4 days to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, and 3 to 5 days everywhere else. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.

If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.

We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

Returns

You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.

Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.

Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.

Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.

If we alter a piece at your request, or adjust it to your measurements before it is sent, it cannot be returned or exchanged. We will always tell you what we propose to change and we never alter anything without your confirmation first.

If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
