A floor length gown in a stretch jersey woven through with lurex threads, so the surface carries a quiet shimmer rather than a shine. The neckline is a V finished with beading, the sleeves are long and fitted with soft ruching along the inner seam, and a tie marks the waist. The skirt is pleated at the centre front and the centre back, and a slit runs up the front to around 40 cm. The bodice is lined in a stretch rayon jersey.
Where does the shimmer come from?
Lurex threads woven into the jersey itself. It is not a coating or a foil on the surface, so there is nothing to flake, rub off or wear away at the seams. The cloth stays soft and stretches like any jersey, and the light catches the threads as you move.
How much do the sleeves cover?
The full arm. The sleeve reaches 60 cm from the shoulder on a size S, finishing at the wrist. There is soft ruching along the inner seam, which is what lets a fitted sleeve bend at the elbow without pulling across the top of the arm.
How high is the front slit?
Around 40 cm, at the centre front. It sits within the pleating, so it opens as you step and closes into the pleat line when you stand still. On a floor length jersey skirt it is what lets you walk at a normal pace.
What is the keyhole at the back?
A long opening running down the centre back, below the neckline. It is the counterweight to a covered front: long sleeves, a beaded V and a floor length skirt from the front, and a single open line from behind.
How will it fit me?
The waist and hip measurements in the chart are the body they fit, not the flat garment, because the jersey stretches. The back of the waistband is also elasticated, so the waist moves with you rather than holding you at one fixed point. Between that and the stretch, this is the most forgiving fit in the collection.
What are the measurements?
Both models wear a size S at two different heights, so you can see where the hem falls. Bronze on a 175 cm model, black on a 172 cm model. Size S: bust 100 cm, waist to fit 76 cm, hips to fit 120 cm, shoulder to hem 152 cm, shoulder to sleeve hem 60 cm.

Delivery
Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. From the moment you order, this typically takes 1 to 2 days in the UAE, 2 to 4 days to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, and 3 to 5 days everywhere else. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.
If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.
We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

Returns
You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.
Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.
Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.
If we alter a piece at your request, or adjust it to your measurements before it is sent, it cannot be returned or exchanged. We will always tell you what we propose to change and we never alter anything without your confirmation first.
If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
