The Divine Dress is a floor length gown in a metallic effect fabric, and it is two dresses rather than one, because the sleeves come off.
With the sleeves on it is covered to below the elbow and reads as formal daywear. With them off it is a sleeveless gown for the evening. Nothing else changes, so one purchase covers a ceremony and the dinner that follows. A jacket lapel opens the neckline into a soft V, and a wide belt with contrast piping marks the waist. It is lined in a soft rayon that breathes, for comfort through a long day.
Wear it to a wedding, a formal lunch, an evening reception, a gala, or the day your daughter marries.
Fit note: the belt sets the waist, so the fit adjusts to you. If you are between sizes, we recommend the larger.
The models are 175cm and wear a size S. That size measures 93cm bust, 74cm waist and 150cm from shoulder to hem, which is 36 1/2, 29 1/4 and 59 inches.
How do the detachable sleeves work?
They come away from the gown completely, so you choose which dress you are wearing on the day. Sleeves on for a ceremony, in daylight, or anywhere coverage matters. Sleeves off for the evening. This is the piece we recommend to anyone buying one dress for a whole day.
How much of the arm does the sleeve cover?
Forty three centimetres from the shoulder in a size S, so three quarters of the way down. The upper arm is fully covered and the wrist is free.
Is this suitable for the mother of the bride?
It is one of the best we make for it. A mother of the bride is on her feet from morning to midnight, photographed constantly, and usually wants her arms covered for the ceremony and not necessarily for the dancing. This gown does both without her changing.

Delivery
Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. This typically takes 1 to 2 days from order in the UAE, and 3 to 5 days for other countries. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.
If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.
We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

Please note that duty charges now apply to shipments to the US, collected by the courier on delivery.
High courier fees mean we charge specific shipping rates for Libya, Israel, Iraq and certain other countries. If you are unsure whether yours is one of them, write to us before you order and we will confirm the rate.
Returns
You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.
Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.
Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.
If we alter a piece at your request, or adjust it to your measurements before it is sent, it cannot be returned or exchanged. We will always tell you what we propose to change and we never alter anything without your confirmation first.
If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
