A full length dress in a semi satin that is softer than satin usually is, with enough weight to fall properly and none of the stiffness. It holds the light along the folds rather than across the whole surface.
The neckline is round and gathered, and a wide gathered waistband draws the dress in at the middle. The sleeves are long and gathered, covering the arm to the wrist. A slit at the front side gives you room to walk.
The dress is lined in soft rayon, so the satin never sits directly against the skin.
It is a dress for an evening wedding, a formal dinner, a reception or any occasion that runs long enough that comfort decides whether you enjoy it.
The fit is true to size and cut generously through the bust, so it skims rather than holds. If you are between sizes, we recommend the larger.
Both models are 175 cm and wear a size S.
The size S measures 100 cm at the bust (39 1/4 inches), 75 cm at the waist (29 1/2 inches), 110 cm at the hips (43 1/4 inches) and 150 cm from shoulder to hem (59 inches), with a sleeve of 60 cm (23 1/2 inches).
How much do the sleeves cover?
Completely. At size S the sleeve measures 60 cm from the shoulder seam, which brings it to the wrist, and the gathering gives room so nothing grips the arm.
How high is the side slit?
About 60 cm, measured up from the hem, so it opens to just above the knee. It is cut at the front side to let you walk and climb a step in a full length dress, and it closes as you stand still.
How does the gathered waistband sit?
It is wide and gathered rather than fitted, so it marks the waist without pressing on it. The bust is cut generously at 100 cm in size S, which means the dress skims the upper body and the waistband is what gives it shape. See more pieces in our Evening Elegance collection.

Delivery
Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. This typically takes 1 to 2 days from order in the UAE, and 3 to 5 days for other countries. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.
If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.
We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

Please note that duty charges now apply to shipments to the US, collected by the courier on delivery.
High courier fees mean we charge specific shipping rates for Libya, Israel, Iraq and certain other countries. If you are unsure whether yours is one of them, write to us before you order and we will confirm the rate.
Returns
You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.
Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.
Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.
If we alter a piece at your request, or adjust it to your measurements before it is sent, it cannot be returned or exchanged. We will always tell you what we propose to change and we never alter anything without your confirmation first.
If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
