A floor length shirt dress in a floral jacquard, with the flowers woven into the cloth rather than printed on it. They sit close together across the shoulders and chest, then open out as they fall, so more of the white ground shows towards the hem. The dress reads deep at the top and light at the bottom with no seam doing the work.
A contrast piping outlines the round neckline, the one line of colour that is not floral. A wide belt marks the waist. The sleeves finish a little above the elbow.
The dress is lined in soft rayon, so the jacquard never sits directly against the skin.
It is a dress for a wedding, a daytime reception, a lunch or any occasion that asks for length without weight.
The fit is true to size. If you are between sizes, we recommend the larger.
The models are 175 cm and wear a size S.
The size S measures 95 cm at the bust (37 1/2 inches), 75 cm at the waist (29 1/2 inches), 104 cm at the hips (41 inches) and 145 cm from shoulder to hem (57 inches). The sleeve measures 26 cm (10 1/4 inches).
Does the pattern change down the dress?
Yes, and it is deliberate. The flowers are densest across the shoulders and chest and open out as the dress falls, so the hem shows more white. It draws the eye up, which is the opposite of what most floral dresses do.
How much do the sleeves cover?
At size S the sleeve measures 26 cm from the shoulder seam, which sits a little above the elbow. Your shoulder and upper arm are covered. If you want the elbow and forearm covered as well, look at our three quarter and long sleeved styles.
Where will the hem fall on me?

Delivery
Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. This typically takes 1 to 2 days from order in the UAE, and 3 to 5 days for other countries. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.
If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.
We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

Returns
You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.
Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.
Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.
If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
