The Love Dress is a short shirt dress in an exclusive Baruni jacquard, the pattern woven into the cloth rather than printed onto it.
It buttons through the front and finishes above the knee, which makes it the easiest piece we make to wear in daylight. The sleeves are three quarter length, the waist is marked without gripping, and the lining is breathable for extra comfort.
Wear it to a daytime event, a lunch, a city celebration, a work occasion or a wedding where the dress code is relaxed.
Fit note: the shirt shape is forgiving through the body. If you are between sizes, we recommend the larger.
The model is 175cm and wears a size S. That size measures 94cm bust, 75cm waist and 98cm from shoulder to hem, which is 37, 29 1/2 and 38 1/2 inches.
How short is it?
98cm from shoulder to hem in a size S, which sits above the knee on a model of 175cm. The length barely changes between sizes, so on a shorter frame it will sit closer to the knee.
How much of the arm is covered?
Forty two centimetres from the shoulder in a size S, so three quarters of the way down. The upper arm is fully covered and the wrist is free.
What does an exclusive jacquard mean?
The cloth is woven for us and for nobody else. The pattern is built into the weave on the loom, which gives the fabric body, stops it fading or cracking, and means you will not see the same dress on anyone who did not buy it from us.

Delivery
Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. This typically takes 1 to 2 days from order in the UAE, and 3 to 5 days for other countries. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.
If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.
We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

Returns
You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.
Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.
Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.
If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
