The Aimee Dress is a flared midi in a rayon with a soft sheen, cut so that the shape does all the work. There is no trim and no beading anywhere on it.
The shoulder is dropped, which sits below the natural shoulder line and softens the whole silhouette, with a short sleeve falling from it. At the back there are keyhole details, which is the only place the dress opens. The skirt flares from the waist and finishes at mid calf. It is lined with a breathable lining for extra comfort.
Wear it to a daytime wedding, a lunch, a city celebration, a formal work occasion or any event where a full length dress would be too much.
Fit note: the dropped shoulder is forgiving and comfortable through a long day. If you are between sizes, we recommend the larger.
The model is 175cm and wears a size S. That size measures 93cm bust, 75cm waist and 128cm from shoulder to hem, which is 36 1/2, 29 1/2 and 50 1/2 inches.
How much of the arm does the sleeve cover?
Twelve centimetres from the shoulder seam in a size S, so the shoulder and the top of the arm. This is a short sleeve, not a covered one. If you want the arm covered, almost everything else we make is sleeved further down.
How long is the skirt?
128cm from shoulder to hem in a size S, which falls at mid calf on a model of 175cm. The length barely changes between sizes, so it sits lower the shorter you are rather than rising.
How open is the keyhole back?
Not very. The keyhole details sit at the back and are the only opening in the dress, which is fully closed everywhere else. It is a detail rather than a cut out, so the dress still works where coverage matters.

Delivery
Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. This typically takes 1 to 2 days from order in the UAE, and 3 to 5 days for other countries. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.
If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.
We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

Returns
You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.
Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.
Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.
If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
