The Adebola Dress is cut from a metallic effect rayon, a fabric that carries light without the stiffness of a true metallic, so it moves like a shirt and reads like an evening piece.
The shirt collar and the tie are made in a contrasting jacquard shot with lurex, which is what gives the dress its two tones. It buttons down the front, the shoulder is dropped to cover about 8 cm of the arm, and there are side pockets set into the seams. The tie is detachable, so the waist is yours to set or to leave.
Wear it to a festive lunch, a daytime reception, a dinner or an evening where a gown would be too much and a day dress not enough.
Fit note: it falls to the mid calf and the buttons let you set your own neckline. If you are between sizes, we recommend the larger.
The model is 175 cm and wears a size S.
Measurements for the size S: bust 94 cm, waist 75 cm, hips 102 cm, shoulder to hem 112 cm.
How much of the shoulder does it cover?
The shoulder is dropped, so the fabric falls about 8 cm down the arm from the shoulder seam. It covers the shoulder itself and the very top of the arm.
Does the tie come off?
Yes. It is detachable rather than stitched on, so you can wear the dress belted at the waist or let it fall straight.
Does it have pockets?
Yes, set into the side seams, deep enough for a phone and a key.
Is it a day dress or an evening dress?
Both, which is the point of a shirt dress cut in this fabric. The metallic effect rayon lifts it for the evening, and the collar and the buttons keep it easy enough for the day.

Delivery
Baruni use international couriers to deliver your orders. This typically takes 1 to 2 days from order in the UAE, and 3 to 5 days for other countries. We usually dispatch within 24 hours.
If you leave your email address at checkout, we will send you a tracking number as soon as your order leaves us, so you can follow its progress.
We also write to you before we ship, to check the size you have chosen is the right one for you. If you think it may not be, reply to that email with your measurements and we will confirm before your dress leaves the atelier.

High courier fees mean we charge specific shipping rates for Libya, Israel, Iraq and certain other countries. If you are unsure whether yours is one of them, write to us before you order and we will confirm the rate.
Returns
You have 15 days from receiving your order to send a piece back to us. It must be unworn and unaltered, with its tags, labels and packaging.
Write to info@baruni.co with your order number and we will send you the return address. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and our original delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Full price pieces are refunded to your original payment method.
Outlet pieces are not refunded. They are returned for store credit, valid for one year on anything on the site.
If we alter a piece at your request, or adjust it to your measurements before it is sent, it cannot be returned or exchanged. We will always tell you what we propose to change and we never alter anything without your confirmation first.
If a size is not right, message us before you send it back. We can often tell you which size to take instead.
